Mr. Peters has been a teacher for five years, and this is his second year at Pulaski. He became a teacher because of his experience coaching youth basketball in the past. Through that, he developed a passion for working with children. He loves experiencing those “Oh, I get it” moments with his students. Building relationships and establishing good rapport with his students is one of the things he enjoys most about being a teacher.

Mr. Peters’ favorite book is A Walk in the Woods by Bill Bryson, which tells the story of a writer and his friend hiking the Appalachian Trail. Hiking is one of his favorite activities during his free time. He also enjoys fishing, biking, camping, and spending time with his large family when he’s away from school. An avid soccer fan, Mr. Peters supports Borussia Dortmund, a team from the German Bundesliga.
