The 2024-2025 school year marks Ms. Spoerri’s 12th year of teaching and her 7th year at Pulaski. She is excited to be a part of the team that received certification to teach the 11th and 12th grade International Baccalaureate Diploma Program in 2018! Teaching Theory of Knowledge (TOK) is her favorite challenge. She also teaches Creative Writing and serves as the ID DP CAS Coordinator and the Extended Essay Coordinator. Fun!

Ms. Spoerri is a “rockhounder,” which means she hunts and collects fancy rocks. If asked nicely, she will happily show her favorites!

She has a dog named Luna and a cat named Dobby.

Ms. Spoerri absolutely loves teaching! Getting to know her students and helping them grow as people fills her heart and soul. She loves watching her students’ faces when something they learn “clicks” in their brain. She is passionate about helping everyone find a space where they belong.

Literature is her life. Her current favorite author is Tana French, but her lifetime favorite book series is Harry Potter. She is a published poet and is also writing a novel. Her poems have been featured in Sheepshead Review, Inkwell Journal, and others.
