Position: Science Teacher

Mr. Berg has been a teacher since 2003. He started his career at Vincent High School but has been at Pulaski for more than 10 years—though he’s starting to lose count. He taught Science and PLTW in the past, but for the last 3+ years, he has been in his current role. Mr. Berg is excited about the direction Pulaski is heading!
He became a teacher because he realized that he enjoys learning and wanted to share his love of learning with others. What he enjoys most about his current job is having the ability to make everyone’s job easier, even that of the students. While testing can sometimes be a bit annoying, Mr. Berg sees it as a tool that helps students understand what they know and where they need to improve.
Mr. Berg has also been involved in extracurricular activities, having served as the bowling coach and, before that, the debate coach.
He is married and has an 8-year-old daughter. In his free time, Mr. Berg enjoys reading books and playing the occasional video game on Xbox. He also enjoys hiking and camping. He attended college at UW-Madison, home of the Badgers. Lately, his favorite books have been non-fiction, with A Short History of Nearly Everything by Bill Bryson possibly being his favorite.
