Ms. Serrano became a teacher because she enjoys helping others support and achieve their dreams. The teaching she enjoys most is seeing students learn a second language while also embracing family values and growing into professional, educated individuals in the future.

Although she doesn’t have much experience, Ms. Serrano is a quick learner and strives to provide a pleasant experience for her students in the classroom. She began at Pulaski on August 13, 2019. She believes that the school’s transition into an IB center is a great way for students to have a more solid learning foundation, with added values that enrich their daily lives.

For those who don’t know her, Ms. Serrano is from a small country town in Puerto Rico. She came to the United States to make progress with her family. She has a 9-year-old daughter and a 5-year-old son, both of whom are very special to her. They, along with her husband, mean everything to her.

In her free time, she enjoys fishing, spending time with her family at the lake, taking in fresh air at the park, playing video games, and reading. Her favorite book is Twilight by Stephenie Meyer.
