Cantos De Las Americas
Each year, the Cantos de las Américas student showcase features music and dance performances by students from across the district featuring a variety of world cultures. Cantos de las Américas has been an annual tradition in Milwaukee Public Schools since 1990! Cantos de las Américasis is an annual celebration that honors the varied cultures that are represented by the students of Milwaukee Public Schools. Historically, the concert has featured students performing songs and dances from Africa, the Caribbean, Latin America, Europe, and the Hmong, Laotian, and Native American cultures. This will be the first year that students from Riley will be performing.
