Riley School’s multi-age, bilingual classroom environments are places of discovery and community, where students of diverse backgrounds and language abilities teach and learn from each other continuously. Teachers are guides, encouraging children to embrace their independence by researching and sharing topics that appeal to their interests and abilities. Guides model and teach communication skills and lead the study of cultures and societies across time. Through these examples, children learn to solve problems peacefully and independently. This enriching learning environment extends beyond the brick-and-mortar walls of our school building. Nearby Baran Park and our redeveloped schoolyard are outdoor laboratories where students explore soil science, plant life, and geography. Beginning at K5, children explore their creativity and physical potential in weekly art, music, and physical education classes.

Riley Dual Language Montessori School thrives on a strong community spirit. Our team’s diversity is our strength, as staff bring a wealth of bilingual teaching experience and Montessori expertise to our children. Parents are partners, joining our Parent Teacher Association and School Engagement Council. Arts, cultural, and environmental organizations welcome our students for hands-on field experiences and community engagement.
