No suspensions during the second semester, beginning January 28, 2026

No excessive tardies

Be off the Unfinished Business List (UBL), meaning all school fees—including fees from previous school years—must be paid. Fees can be viewed and paid through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.

Note: Seniors do not need to pay their senior fee in order to attend Prom.

Be a junior or senior in good standing (based on credits earned), or a student in an alternate curriculum.

A guest permission slip must be completed and approved.

Guest tickets must be purchased at the same time as the Riverside student’s ticket.

Any guest previously removed from Riverside for administrative reasons is not eligible to attend.

Administration will review all non-Riverside guest requests before approval.

Complete a permission slip (available in the Bookstore and Main Office).

Have the slip signed by a parent or legal guardian.

Submit the partially completed slip to the marked bin in Room 215 for administrative review.

Permission slips will be reviewed and signed by Riverside administrator Mr. Brown.

Students may pick up their approved permission slip from Mr. Brown in the cafeteria during their assigned lunch hour. Please allow 24–48 hours for processing.

Student ID Required: Students must present a valid ID for entry.

Ticket Receipt Required: Prom admission will use a computerized list, but students must bring their receipt and photo ID to enter.

No Late Admittance: Students will not be admitted after 8:00 PM.

No Reentry: Students who leave the venue may not reenter.

Formal Attire Required: Prom is a formal event. Students not dressed in attire appropriate for a formal school event may be denied entry and forfeit payment.

Follow Riverside Behavior Policies: Students suspected of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be denied entry, and their parents will be contacted to pick them up. If a parent cannot be reached, the Milwaukee Police Department will be notified. Inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
