The Riverside University High School Engagement Council provides a forum for students, parents, school staff members, and community members to work together to increase student achievement.
School spirit and student enrichment are on the agenda for Parent Teacher Associations and Organizations districtwide. School policies, procedures, and student well-being are the work of School Engagement Councils, established in Milwaukee Public Schools in 1997.
Members of the council:
- Analyze school climate, performance, and budgetary issues.
- Advise school faculty and administration on matters affecting curriculum, student performance, and overall student well-being.
Monthly meetings of the School Engagement Council are held in person and can also be accessed virtually. Please contact our parent coordinator at lallava@milwaukee.k12.wi.us or (414) 906-5013 if you would like to serve on our council, attend a meeting, or suggest an agenda topic for an upcoming meeting.
