These partnerships help bridge the gap between our school and the broader community. Our partners empower students to grow academically, socially, and professionally while fostering a strong network of support that benefits everyone involved.<\/p>\n<h2>Big Brothers Big Sisters<\/h2>\n<p>Mentor 2.0 is a proven, technology-enriched mentoring program for high school students. It provides support and guidance, helping high school students graduate and succeed in both college and the workforce. The program fosters a strong mentor\/mentee relationship through sharing professional experiences, networking skills, short- and long-term goal planning, and leadership development.<\/p>\n<p>Mentors help students develop study skills, social skills, and learning strategies to enhance achievement. The mentoring relationship strengthens college aspirations and builds an understanding of college eligibility, the application process, and support systems.<\/p>\n<h2>Bridging Brighter Smiles<\/h2>\n<p>Bridging Brighter Smiles is a local nonprofit organization that envisions a community where every child is given the opportunity to receive preventative oral care. They provide on-site dental care for our students.<\/p>\n<h2>Holistic Life Foundation<\/h2>\n<p>The Holistic Life Foundation is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of underserved communities. They provide emotional regulation for our students during the school day.<\/p>\n<h2>Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC)<\/h2>\n<p>Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) is a two-year institution that offers more than 170 degree, diploma, and certificate programs. MATC has numerous transfer partners, including pathways through guaranteed admission agreements with four-year colleges and universities. MATC offers dual-enrollment courses to MPS students through Start College Now, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.matc.edu\/academics\/academic-resources\/dual-enrollment\/transcripted-credit.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MATC Transcripted Credits<\/a>, and the M<sup>3<\/sup> (M-Cubed) College Connections program.<\/p>\n<p>MATC is one of three lead partners of the M<sup>3<\/sup> initiative (M-Cubed). Along with Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM), this collaboration is dedicated to transforming the future of Milwaukee through education. M<sup>3<\/sup> offers the College Connections Program, which allows MPS students to earn high school and college credit at the same time through dual enrollment courses at MATC and UWM.<\/p>\n<h2>People Program<\/h2>\n<p>The Precollege Enrichment Opportunity Program for Learning Excellence (PEOPLE) is a college preparatory pipeline designed to help students become viable college candidates for the Universities of Wisconsin, with an emphasis on UW-Madison. <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/12vJd8H--OIAxUYRkCbV2q9Qhc_0l9g6M\/view?usp=sharing\">Click here for more information.<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Rockwell Automation<\/h2>\n<p>Rockwell Automation is the largest company in the world dedicated to industrial automation and information. They provide coaches for our Robotics team.<\/p>\n<h2>School Community Partnership for Mental Health (SCPMH)<\/h2>\n<p>Since 2009, the School Community Partnership for Mental Health (SCPMH) has provided intensive, on-site mental wellness programs and mental health services to students and families in Milwaukee Public Schools. The partnership began in just four schools and has now expanded to nearly 40 schools.<\/p>\n<h2>University of Wisconsin\u2013Milwaukee (UWM)<\/h2>\n<p>UW\u2013Milwaukee (UWM) provides affordable, world-class education to 23,000 students from 86 countries. The university is one of three lead partners of the M<sup>3<\/sup>\u202finitiative (M-Cubed) and hosts the TRIO &amp; PRE-College program, preparing Milwaukee Public Schools students for academic and career success before and beyond graduation day.<\/p>\n<h2>Urban Ecology Center (UEC)<\/h2>\n<p>Milwaukee\u2019s three Urban Ecology Centers provide year-round educational programs for kids, families, and adults of all ages. The centers help make urban parks safer, enrich classroom curriculum, and provide students with the science skills they need to succeed.
