Dear Parents and Families,

It is with great pleasure that I introduce myself as the proud leader of River Trail School of Agricultural Science. I am very enthusiastic about continuing the great things that are occurring here and anticipate an outstanding year! We as a staff will continue to set high expectations for learning by implementing our curriculum and aligning it to our agriculture program along with the Wisconsin Common Core State Standards. Most importantly, teachers and staff will continue to motivate, cultivate and engage our students in advancing their academic and artistic skills and abilities.

As you are aware, each child brings to school a unique set of artistic gifts to share with the River Trail community. We value each student and will continue to work hard to ensure that your child learns, grows, and develops academically and artistically.

Our students inspire me every day. They are the organized force of our school. I feel that my responsibility as the school leader is to ensure your child receives a quality education within a safe, respectful school environment, and our dedicated River Trail staff shares this focus. Many students perform at or above grade level in every subject by the time they graduate.

I am a firm believer in the home/school connection. Working together enhances your child’s educational experiences, and our families page offers tips and resources for supporting your child’s learning at home. Watch for messages and invitations from our dedicated parent coordinator, Kendra Pearson (pearsokl@milwaukee.k12.wi.us). There are many opportunities to engage and excel at River Trail School of Agricultural Science, and we look forward to sharing them with students and their families.
