RKIMS New Cell Phone Policy Starts Monday September 11th
Hello RKIMS Families,
Starting September 11, 2023, all students will turn in their cell
phones when they arrive at school. The cell phones will be
placed in individual bags, labeled with the student’s name.
Cell phones will be secured in the school vault and returned
during 8th period (at the end of the school day)
Cell phones have become an extreme distraction in our school
and impacting school learning as well as safety. We
understand the need for communicating with your child; please
contact the office for assistance. Students who need to contact
their parents will be able to using the school phones.
Students who are found to be in possession of cell phones
while in the school will be addressed. The cell phone will be
collected and parent will have to come pick it up from the
school.
Your student is the only one that will be handling the deposit
and retrieval of their phone. Staff will NOT touch any phones.
If you have any questions please call 414-616-5226.
Thank you for your help,
RKIMS Staff
