What inspired me to become a dance teacher with Milwaukee Public Schools, was after 27 years as a professional performing dance artist with the Ko-Thi Dance Company. For me, it just felt like the next phase was change careers and become a dance teacher. Dance, music, and singing are the arts that help me as a young learner. And because I was exposed to the fine arts from elementary, middle, and high school I was able to overcome my extreme shyness.
