It has been an IB school since 1979, and approximately 90% of the student population participates in the Pre Diploma and IB programs. The IB Diploma program is a rigorous pre-university course of study, which meets the needs of the highly motivated secondary student. The program involves two years of preparation for examinations that are evaluated and recognized internationally. The IB student may work toward individual subject certificates or an IB diploma. Our school offers a rigorous academic program and is made up of a multicultural population.\r\n\r\nWith a strong focus on academics, activities and diversity, Rufus King International School \u2013 High School Campus is the 2012 top-rated Wisconsin public high school (U.S. News & World Report). We offer a rigorous pre-university course of study which meets the needs of highly-motivated secondary students.\r\n\r\nGrades 9 and 10 emphasize the IB Middle Years preparatory program, with students in Grades 11 and 12 eligible to earn the coveted IB Diploma or individual subject certificates in addition to the MPS diploma.\r\n\r\nEntrance is granted by portfolio or admissions assessment; we participate in the early admissions process.
