Frances Starms Discovery Learning Center staff members are all highly educated. Many have advanced degrees and qualifications that exceed the state average and have been with our school for a decade or more. We place a special emphasis on reading and math skills, and offer our students a technology-based education, with opportunities to participate in STEM programming in our own science lab, plus art, music, culinary arts, athletics, and leadership programs. Positive behavioral supports help our learners become self-confident, emotionally healthy, responsible members of the community. And our regular field trips expose Starms students to the arts, nature, and other state and community highlights.
The Frances Starms Centers envision an environment where every student achieves at his or her maximum potential, creating a school community of lifelong learners.
