Common Ground
Common Ground connects congregations, schools, small businesses, neighborhood groups, and other organizations across Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Washington, and Waukesha as they identify problems facing our community and implement creative solutions. An extension of Common Ground, Forward Scholars tutors help first through third-grade students who need extra support to read proficiently, and they mentor fifth graders preparing for the United Nations Schools of International Learning world fair.

Milwaukee Public Library
Milwaukee Public Libraries staff get to know the schools, residents, and readers living near each of the library’s twelve neighborhood branches, connecting patrons of all ages to vital information. Our partnership with the Good Hope branch promotes literacy and creativity. First graders sign up for their first library card. Fourth graders search for and check out reading materials and enjoy creating in the library’s Makerspace.
United Nations Association (UNA) of Greater Milwaukee
