Principal’s Message

Nicole JudeWelcome to Gilbert Stuart School and our International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP), delivering a rigorous, high-quality education to K4 through fifth-grade students. PYP challenges students to become globally minded, inquiry based learners who perform at or above grade level in all subjects. As a one-to-one school, Stuart provides individualized technology to support student learning, including Chromebook access for all. We want students to develop research and technological skills to thrive in a rapidly changing world.

Our teachers make time for technology and nature. Conveniently located in the Northwest Region of Milwaukee Public Schools, Stuart School is just across the street from Noyes Park. The park’s rich collection of native plants and comfortable hiking trails connect students to our shared environment and teach them how to care for it.

Most important, Stuart staff are dedicated and determined. They collaborate with family and community to learn what’s best for every child. Parents and caregivers can access our Parent Center, provide feedback on how we are doing, and join the Stuart family. Parent engagement is strongly encouraged through School Engagement Council and PTO membership. Family members attend school programs and volunteer here, creating a powerful school-to-home connection that supports all students.

I look forward to your visit because I believe in what we’re building at Stuart School and I’m incredibly proud of our Soaring Eagles. Support our students in their quest to become the best by joining our community as a parent, volunteer, or partner.

Sincerely,

Nicole Jude, PhD
