Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC)
Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) is a two-year institution that offers more than 170 degree, diploma, and certificate programs. MATC has numerous transfer partners, including pathways through guaranteed admission agreements with four-year colleges and universities. MATC offers field trips for our students to explore their many programs, from nursing to welding and beyond.
My Sista’s KeepHer
My Sista’s KeepHer empowers young girls and women to love themselves and each other using the art of poetry to promote positive self-expression, achievement of their dreams, and the ability to live healthy, safe, and productive lives. Through workshop discussions and skill-building exercises, students learn about developing self-esteem, building healthy relationships, and recognizing and regulating emotions.
Our Daily Bread Community Outreach Center, Inc.
Our Daily Bread is a community organization dedicated to education, healthcare, and more. They also offer mental health services for our students and the community.
Progressive Community Health Centers
Located a block away from our campus, the Libson Avenue Health Center provides health services for Transition students.
WRTP | BIG STEP
WRTP | BIG STEP aims to help organizations recruit, develop, and retain a more diverse, qualified workforce in construction, manufacturing, and other sectors. They bring their apprenticeship program to Transition students.
