District Multilingual Multicultural
Advisory Council (DMMAC)
We need parents and educators of English Learner
(EL) students to offer their views about EL programs.
This input is essential for the planning, operation,
and evaluation of EL programming.
Who can join the DMMAC?
The committee needs:
• Parents of ELs enrolled in a bilingual and/or English as a Second
Language (ESL) program
• Bilingual educators—teachers, paraprofessionals, and counselors
• A limited number of representatives from the ESL stand-alone
program and immersion program
What does the committee do?
The group will:
• Learn about strengths and challenges
• Focus on continuous improvement
• Assist the district in sharing information about EL programming
How do I get involved?
Submit an interest form using the link or QR code below. We will develop
the committee and set a meeting schedule (about once per month).
