New Student Class Pass Policy

February 11, 2025 | News

Greeting Purgolder families
Begining this week Washington High School will be starting a new pass policy designed to support our student needs while encouraging them to use class time and time during passing wisely. MPS schools don’t just focus on the academic well being of students, but also with emphasis on social emotional learning which prepares students for the world after high school. Students will be allowed a limited amount of passes out of classrooms each term and should focus on leaving the room only when it’s strictly necessary. Students will need their photo id’s to use their passes, so make sure they are bringing them to school or contact school staff if they need one. Please don’t hesitate to contact the school with questions or to notify our staff about special needs your child may have regarding leaving learning environments. Thank you very much.
