International Baccalaureate (IB)
The IB is a global leader in international education — developing inquiring, knowledgeable, confident, and caring young people. Their programmes empower school-aged students to take ownership in their own learning and help them develop future-ready skills to make a difference and thrive in a world that changes fast. Wedgewood Park International School is an IB-authorized provider of the IB Middle Years Programme.
Instruction Partners
The mission of Instruction Partners is to strengthen instructional leadership in schools, school systems, and states to ensure teachers have the support they need to improve learning experiences and learning outcomes for students. Wedgewood Park administrators and educators are working with Instruction Partners to craft and implement an academic planning structure across English language arts, mathematics, and science. New teaching and learning assessments are integrated into the planning structure to provide data and inform decisions designed to improve student learning outcomes.
Junior Achievement USA
Junior Achievement USA is the nation’s largest organization dedicated to giving young people the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan for their future, and make smart academic and economic choices. Junior Achievement’s programs in work readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy ignite the spark in young people to experience and realize the opportunities and realities of work and life in the 21st century. Wedgewood Park International School students participate in Junior Achievement USA programming through Junior Achievement of Wisconsin.
Northwestern Mutual Foundation
Northwestern Mutual Foundation’s efforts are focused on advancing education, neighborhoods, and making Milwaukee a great destination. Northwestern Mutual Foundation supports Wedgewood Park International School programs including school trips to Boston, Washington, D.C., and our 2025 trip to Senegal.
Verizon Innovative Learning
The Verizon Innovative Learning program is helping millions of students thrive with access to tech, tools and free skills training. Locally, Verizon Innovative Learning partners with Milwaukee Public Schools to promote digital inclusion and help prepare students for today’s digital economy. With the goal to fundamentally change the way teachers teach and students learn, Verizon Innovative Learning is giving students hands-on experiences with emerging technologies. The Verizon Innovative Learning Program at Wedgewood Park International School gives our students and teachers access to emerging technology such as augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR), 3D printing, and artificial intelligence (AI). Effective June 2023, Wedgewood Park International School is an alumni member of the Verizon Innovative Learning network.
Wisconsin Association of IB World Schools
The Wisconsin Association of IB World Schools exists to serve member schools across the state that are authorized providers of International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes. Schools meet monthly to discuss and advise one another on IB policy, technology, and best practices across the Primary Years, Middle Years, and Diploma programmes.
