MPS has an exciting announcement for families with children who ride the school bus! Families now have access to an app called WheresTheBus<\/em>. This app allows families to track their child\u2019s bus in real time.<\/p>\n

WheresTheBus<\/em> lets families know precisely when their child\u2019s bus will arrive at the bus stop. The app tracks the location of the bus and provides up-to-the-minute arrival times.<\/p>\n

The app is free. Families can access WheresTheBus<\/em> from any device with internet capability\u2014smartphone, tablet, PC, or iPad. Apple iOS and Android apps are available.<\/p>\n

This app gives peace of mind by knowing where the bus is. Tracking the bus means students and families can wait in the comfort of home rather than standing outside in bad weather.<\/p>\n

To access WheresTheBus<\/em>, families must have a Campus Parent (parent portal) account with a login and password. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Families can set up a Campus Parent account in two ways:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. At their child\u2019s school during regular school hours; an ID is required; OR<\/li>\n
  2. At MPS Central Services, 5225 W. Vliet St., Milwaukee, WI 53208, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; an ID is required.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    1. Log in to Campus Parent.<\/li>\n
    2. Search for WheresTheBus<\/em> and click on the icon.<\/li>\n
    3. Follow the registration steps and instructions.<\/li>\n
    4. Download the app from the App Store (iOS\/Apple) or Google Play (Android).<\/li>\n
    5. Log in with your Campus Parent ID and password to open the app and see bus information.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
