A Welcoming Space
One of Cooper’s greatest strengths is our close-knit community. Many students begin in kindergarten and remain through eighth grade, creating lasting friendships and strong relationships with teachers and staff. Families are active partners in their children’s education through a highly involved PTA and a strong home-school connection. With excellent attendance and a positive school culture, students enjoy coming to school and take pride in being part of the Cooper community.
Unique Educational Experiences
At Cooper, our students benefit from engaging learning experiences that extend beyond the classroom, such as PLTW (Project Lead The Way) and our Healthy Child Program. A strong focus on literacy inspires students to become lifelong readers, and monthly celebrations recognize their academic achievement, personal growth, positive behavior, and attendance.
Cooper is committed to educating the whole child through after-school offerings, ongoing wellness activities, and more. Our diverse community fosters respect, kindness, and collaboration. Students appreciate different cultures while learning to support one another.
Preparation for the Future
Cooper students graduate with the knowledge, confidence, and skills needed for continued success. Seventh and eighth graders have opportunities to take accelerated classes online or through a partnership with Ronald Wilson Reagan College Preparatory High School. Many of our eighth graders are accepted into Reagan and other selective high schools. Cooper’s high expectations and supportive learning environment ensure they are prepared for the next step in their educational journey.
Sustainability at Cooper
Cooper is committed to environmental stewardship through our rooftop solar panel system. These panels help reduce energy costs while serving as a hands-on learning tool for students. By combining energy efficiency with environmental education, Cooper encourages students to become responsible stewards of their community and the planet.
