VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

  • What: Food Right Volunteers for Primary (K5) Classrooms
  • When: 12:30-2:00 PM every Wednesday for 6 weeks starting October 11th
  • Four (3) Volunteers needed

We are thrilled to announce that we will be working with Food Right again this year, and bringing the Youth Chef Academy to our K5 classrooms. In this program our student chefs will explore where food comes from, experiment with growing microgreens, learn about nutritious foods, & prepare simple & delicious plant-based dishes.

We need volunteers on Wednesday afternoons to work in the classrooms with the Primary teachers during this time. Volunteers will need to complete an application which does take time to go through the system, so please reach out ASAP if you are interested. (application is linked above) Interested or have questions? Please contact: Ms. Jaeger at mossergj@milwaukee.k12.wi.us
