School Hours

7:15 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

In our new schoolyard, a rainbow of herbs, flowers, and vegetables represent the home countries of 200+ students who speak a total of eight languages. More than 25 percent of Zablocki students are English learners who receive ESL support as they build literacy and math skills. Parents are partners in education who join our Family Leadership Organization (FLO). Partner agencies invest in our school, providing literacy services, health and wellness programming, and after-school enrichment activities to support the whole family.

Daily lessons in core subjects like math, social studies, and science are balanced by weekly music and physical education classes. New in 2024, we are learning restorative practices to build a community of care that welcomes and respects all. Working hard and working together is necessary as we focus on Zablocki School’s three key priorities:

  1. Meaningful Academic Engagement,
  2. Health and Wellness, and
  3. Intentional Family Engagement.
