Tickets

Digital ticket sales begin one week before a scheduled athletic event and end 30 minutes after the event’s scheduled start time.

Athletes may participate in one sport per season. There are three seasons each school year: Fall, Winter, and Spring.

Fall Sports

Winter Sports

  • Basketball (Boys* and Girls)

*Tryouts are required due to the sport’s popularity. The athletic fee is transferable to another sport for anyone who is not selected to participate.

**This is a cooperative team with Wisconsin Conservatory of Lifelong Learning. Bay View is the lead school.

Special Olympics (Winter & Spring)

Bowling, basketball, and track are offered to students with cognitive disabilities. Students who meet the criteria earn major and minor awards at the end of the season. Sophomores, juniors, and seniors are invited to coach Special Olympic athletes in bowling, basketball skills, and track

Advice for High School Athletes

Student-athletes are expected to attend practice every day and stay on top of academics. Students should notify their coach ahead of time if they cannot make a practice.

Student-Athlete Registration

Athletes and families must review, sign, and submit the following documents and information on the Milwaukee City Conference Student-Athlete Registration Portal:

  • Athletic Fee Payment (via debit/credit card)
  • Athletic Permit Card
  • Code of Conduct
  • Concussion Agreement Forms (for each sport you participate in)
  • Physical Examination Form, signed/stamped by a medical professional and parent/guardian
  • Proof of Insurance (pic of front/back of card); option to purchase from K&K Insurance for sports season, if needed
  • Student-Athlete Handbook
  • Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association Eligibility Forms

Milwaukee Public Schools has partnered with Concentra health care services to provide physical exams for high-school athletes. You can also choose to work with your child’s current medical provider.
