La Escuela Fratney hosts before-school, after-school, and wrap-around programs in partnership with Milwaukee Public Schools and Milwaukee Recreation.
- Before-School – Welcomes students in grades K4 through six from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
- Wrap-Around – Welcomes half-day K3 students from 8:00 a.m. through 12:30 p.m. and 12:30 p.m. through 6:00 p.m. A nutritious snack or light meal is provided.
- After-School – Welcomes students in grades K4 through six from 4:15 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. A nutritious snack and light meal are provided.
The Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Center at Fratney is an enrichment program for K3 through sixth-grade students.
The Fratney Community Learning Center is led by three partners:

- Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee
- La Escuela Fratney
Every Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Center offers a healthy snack or light dinner, and supervised, structured academic enrichment opportunities that reinforce what students are learning in school.

Fees
Milwaukee Public Schools’ 21st CCLC programs may charge nominal program fees. The inability to pay fees or to receive Wisconsin Shares authorization cannot be a barrier to participation for students.

All Milwaukee Public Schools community learning centers are funded by Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Center federal grant funds through a grant agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. The federal Elementary and Secondary Education Act, as amended by No Child Left Behind, Title IV, Part B, fund all 21st Century Community Learning Center grants.
Registration
Registration forms are available at the school’s 21st CCLC site and must be submitted to the site coordinator. Additional forms may be required as part of the registration process.
