Thank you so much for visiting our school website. Whether you are a current family or a prospective family, we are always happy to share what Morgandale has to offer.

My name is Mr. Badillo, and I am the proud principal of Morgandale School. Being part of Morgandale is more than just a job—it is truly an honor to serve such a fantastic school community.

I am grateful to have personally experienced many of the opportunities that Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) provides for our students. My journey with MPS began in the winter of 1986, when I arrived from Mexico as a middle school student at what was then Kosciuszko Middle School. As a newcomer, I was supported by MPS in so many ways. I felt welcomed and valued, and I quickly became part of the MPS family.

After two wonderful years in middle school, I attended South Division High School. There, I continued my academic journey while also discovering new passions, including swimming and playing soccer. MPS helped me earn the credits I needed to graduate and pursue higher education. Thanks to the excellent teachers who guided and inspired me, I earned my college degree and returned to MPS to begin my career as a middle school teacher.

Fourteen years later, I became an assistant principal, and eventually, I had the incredible privilege of becoming Morgandale’s principal.

My mission is to provide our students with a learning environment that is conducive to growth and achievement—a school community where students feel safe to take risks, try new things, and develop their social skills in healthy and meaningful ways. I want Morgandale to be a place where every child builds lasting positive memories while receiving a high-quality education.
