At Anna F. Doerfler School we support our families and the home cultures of our children, so our students learn to appreciate each other and everyone in the community.
We are located near the Layton Boulevard neighborhood, close to the Mitchell Park Domes. Our school serves students from bilingual K3 through grade 8. We value our culturally diverse population and support it with a developmental bilingual program and English language learners (ELL) instruction for students not fluent in English in grades K4–8.
Our dedicated staff promotes high academic achievement, so students are ready for high school, college, and career. The environmental science curriculum is expanding, so that students become responsible global citizens. Doerfler uses the arts in all subjects to improve learning.
