Maryland Door Arrivals/Drop-Off

December 18, 2023 | News

**I apologize that this did not publish and send as I had intended last week.  I know Ms. Nacole was working to inform Maryland Ave. drop off families in-person on Thursday and Friday during arrival.  Your grace and support is appreciated.**

———

We are moving the Maryland Ave. door drop-off/arrivals to the Prospect (main) door.  Dismissal will remain the same.  Please see the updated map below.

Sometimes changes in routines may feel a little tricky for children; the best approach is for the adults to model that there are times in life when flexibility is necessary.  Same smiling faces, new door, same school! While we LOVE routine, we also know that sometimes we need to adapt.

The use of the Maryland door for arrival is something we did to adapt to health guidance coming out of the federal Covid-19 shelter at home orders. We have since decided, as a staff, that we no longer need an additional entrance and we can better serve the children with entry on the Prospect side of the building.

We appreciate your trust, as always, now and as we move into the new year!

If you have additional questions feel welcome to reach out-
