MAM Fund

Maryland Avenue Montessori Fund (MAM Fund) is a group of parents working together to build community and raise money for our school.

Proceeds from our annual Springfest and individual and corporate donations fund student programming, campus improvements, classroom support, and education and extracurricular-activity scholarships for students.

  • Dance Works – Intergenerational Multi-Arts Program (IMAP)
  • Danceworks Mad Hot Rhythm

Outdoor Classroom and Rain Garden

MAM Fund dedication and donations helped create our school’s new 14,000 square-foot environmental classroom and exploratory rain garden. This $140,000 project transformed what was formerly a 10,000 square-foot asphalt parking lot and adjacent turf into an environmentally friendly landscape. Students can research and record the natural cycle of rainwater as the garden’s creek bed directs water from disconnected roof downspouts to the  rain garden.
