Hello MAM Parents & Caregivers-
A letter (linked below) was sent home with all-day students on Friday, April 5th. If you did not get the letter, keep reading.
On Monday, April 8th we will experience a partial Solar Eclipse.
In our area, the eclipse is scheduled to start at 12:53 PM (after our recesses end), with 50% of max. coverage at 1:33, maximum coverage at 2:08, another 50% at 2:42, and the eclipse ending at 3:21.
The school will be providing all full-day students with Eclipse safe viewing glasses and invite students and staff who may have their own to bring them on Monday – as peak coverage for Milwaukee will be during our dismissal.
If you DO NOT want your child to participate in Eclipse related classroom activities and did not receive the 4/5/2024 letter please call the school on Monday 414-906-4800 or email 268@milwaukee.k12.wi.us to OPT-OUT of Eclipse related classroom activities.
ONLY CALL OR email or RETURN THE FORM IF YOU DO NOT WANT YOUR CHILD TO PARTICIPATE IN CLASSROOM RELATED ECLIPSE ACTIVITIES!
