MAM Art Show at Beans & Barley

May 6, 2024 | News

From Ms. Wilmsen and the ART ROOM!

“The 3rd annual Beans and Barley Student Art Show is up and ready for viewing! This year we further built on the community vibes by adding Fernwood Montessori into the mix. This show is a wonderful way to display how art education is thriving in our public Montessori community. For Maryland students, each k5 and all day k4 students have a honey bee in the piece that is right at the front door above the ATM. Every lower elementary student worked on an insect/arachnid that is part of the huge 2 school insect collaborative installation. 41 students of all ages have featured artwork that can be seen in the restaurant waiting area, and those families will get email communications in the next couple days. Dining in the restaurant or purchasing any items is not required to view the work, but a great way to thank our community partner for this unique opportunity. The students worked so hard and I am very proud of their efforts and accomplishments, I hope y’all can check it out! The show is up NOW through JUNE 1st!”
