| Jonathan Brostoff's Rabbi, Rabbi Levi Stein, has set a course to host 41 suicide prevention trainings over the year in honor of Jonathan's life. The Maryland Ave. Montessori - PTO is honored to share that our school will host one of these trainings on February 6, 4-8pm.
SafeTALK is a 4-hour training that prepares participants to become a trained suicide-alert helper. This half-day, in-person training teaches individuals aged 15 years and older steps to identify people with suicidal thoughts and connect them to resources for help and support. All attendees of this 4-hour suicide prevention training will receive a certificate of completion, a resource booklet, a wallet card and awareness stickers. We welcome interested members of the MAM community and the community at-large to register for our or any other training session. |
