Parent and family involvement is a proud tradition at Milwaukee French Immersion School.
Whether your primary language is English or you’re a Francophone family joining us from another part of the world, you can easily and effectively contribute to our school community through our Parent Teacher Association.
This creative and active family organization meets the second Wednesday of every month, 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., to discuss, plan, and implement programs and special events that support our school’s mission:
- Classroom grants for field trips
- Family events like film screenings and roller-skating parties
- Fundraisers for enrichment programming
- School-wide programs like open house, Mardi Gras, and Marathon de Danse (All School PTA Fundraiser).
You don’t need an invitation or prior dance, event-planning, or fundraising experience to join our PTA:
- All Milwaukee French Immersion School community members are encouraged to attend these open meetings.
- Optional annual dues are $10 and give PTA members voting rights.
- Socializing and light refreshments are a free and fun way to meet fellow French Immersion families before the monthly meeting: 5:15 p.m. — exactement.
